No June Minutes

Discussion on Biotech centers in Mission Bay and Oyster Point, CCSF on and India Basin being in the center.   Potential for vocational/professional training and education in our area.

ITEM 2. 9:20     REPORTS / MANAGEMENT

  • Treasurer: Quarter 3 report / balances
    • Q3 report to be presented at the next meeting in August

    • Reviewed new membership numbers and signups

    • IBNA Facebook group open for everyone to post, encourage to post more content

ITEM 3. 9:30     UPDATES

  • Rescue SF
    • Sean gave an update
    • Ongoing weekly meetings
    • Guest speakers from UC Hastings, SF Chronicle and other
    • All inputs will be aggregated and a policy proposal put forward. 
  • What’s Going on HERE Project
    • Jill has 2 more banners remaining
    • Request to put one more banner in Hunters View Park
    • AI: Jill will update the webpage and split it into subpages one for each project
  • Quick Build
    • Posh Green also applied for street calming with the city
    • Updates in August from the city
  • 900 Innes Park
    • Reviewed the plan
    • IBNA is proving feedback to SF Rec and Park on furniture to ensure the park’s long-term maintenance and usability for the community
  • IBIP art sign
    • No updates

ITEM 4. 10:00   PALMILIA

Joined by Emil Khodorkovsky and Norberto Nardi to discuss our concerns

  • Hosted a Zoom conference call with Norberto Nardi (Chief Architect), Emil Khodorkovsky (co-developer and investor), Agustin (co-developer), Donna (project manager)
  • Palmilia answered a list of 13 questions and feedback provided by IBNA
  • A detailed list of Q/A can be provided by request
  • Key action items:
    • AI: David will reach to SF Bike to ensure they and Palmilia are in alignment (Class 1 Bike Path)
    • AI: Palmilia to have a conf call with Build Inc to align their plans
    • AI: Palmilia to provide a visual plan for connections between Palmilia and the open space around them, as well as Donohue and Innes
    • AI: Palmilia to provide roof-top views of their complex
    • AI: Richard to follow up on Northside Park transfer timeline
  • Agreed to have a follow-up meeting 

ITEM 5. 10:45   SIGN ONTO OPPOSITION LETTER

OPPOSE 2020-000052PCA, Standard Environmental Requirements, Code Amendments AND Call for strengthening of the CEQA process in San Francisco

  • AI: Jill to send our support to Golden Gate Park Preservation Alliance
