ITEM 1. 9:00     BOARD CHECK-IN

  • Roll Call / Quorum
  • Board Member Check-in / Announcements
    • Triangle: someone complained to Shamann, and it’s been cleaned up. IBNA will follow up
    • First Zoom CAC meeting is schedule in February 14th
    • Rec&Park released Equitable Development Plan
    • Lennar has a very high vacancy rate in the SHipyard, was mentioned in the Chronicle article
    • Lennar requests one of the photos from Max’s blog to use in their signage
    • A discussion among Shipyard dow owners to create safe dog space, asking Lennar & OCI

ITEM 2. TREASURER REPORT & FINANCIALS

  1. Sponsorship:
    1. CEMEX, new events for the year
      1. We will have an big event after all murals installed
      2. We consider building more planters and murals

ITEM 3. 9:40    CURRENT PROJECTS

  1. Art on Innes – Max, Jill
    1. Next mural: Heart/Rooster (tentatively: Jill, Max, Greg, Michael)
    2. Max will publish photos on Google
    3. Planters: Sean, Michael, Max met twice and started on 5 more planters to continue on Innes Ave
    4. Will put a letter together for property owners
  2. Community Conversation with Navy – Sean
    1. Michael will take over from Sean
    2. The date might be pushed to June for an in-person meeting
    3. IBNA prefers an in-person, we will also coordinate with Barbara Ockel from the STAR
  3. India Basin Day 2022
    1. Currently planned for May and/or October
    2. IBNA doesn’t have enough bandwidth to actively participate at the moment
  4. AGM
    1. Planned in March; need IBNA PayPal
  5. 2022 Membership
    1. Discussion on how to improve IBNA membership
    2. We have 450 Facebook followers, 75 instagram and 220 people in mailing list, but only a couple dozen paying members 🙁
    3. Weekly focus on what IBNA has done in the past year; a plea for membership
    4. Each one writes a couple of things some of the important things that IBNA doesWhy I am supporting IBNA
  6. Newsletter content review
