UPDATE: Historic Boatyard Cleanup The contract for environmental cleanup of the future park is out to bid and the work will start soon. We appreciate that the Recreation and Park Department has addressed our list of questions about the impact of this remediation on the nearby neighbors. UPDATE: Block 1 Last week the preliminary design for Block 1, now called Palmilia By the Bay, was presented to the Shipyard CAC. This project proposes 224 residential units, 270 parking places, and 20,000 square feet of commercial. The IBNA Board will be meeting with the developers to discuss community concerns and will continue to update the neighbors on this project.
