  • Board Member Check-in / Announcements
    • Sean had a conversation with Southeast Community Center about bringing biotech jobs to India Basin. “Education outreach” tentative name
    • Max met with Charlie from the Box Shop, talked about the murals and his plans to continue adding more of them. Talked about a possible spot for a community garden
    • “Bike Share” reached out to Jill about discounts for the low-income population
  • Review / Approve Minutes September 2020
    • Approved, 7 in favor, 0 against

ITEM 2. 9:20     IBNA MANAGEMENT / UPDATES

  • Discussion and possible vote to create a Committee to suggest Mission & Goals changes
  • Review survey for October newsletter (Max/Jill)
    • Possibly ask for the address
    • #4, add “email” as option
    • Add a question, “Are you member of IBNA?”
    • #5 “importance of aspects”
    • #7 Community building, connecting with neighbors, social activities (e.g. potluck, concert, bbq, )

    • How to improve the response rate

ITEM 4. 10:00   HUNTERS VIEW UPDATE

Guest Catherine Etzel from the John Stewart Company with Hunters View phase 3 update

Guest David Chiu will talk about legislative session

ITEM 6. 10:45   BIKE LANE ADVOCACY

  • Guest Peter Beldin and Donovan Lacy with information on the D10 Connected and Protected Bike Path (D10 CAP Bike Path)
    • Peter suggests adding Jennings to the SFMTA QuickBuild project
    • Also, should the intersections be protected as well (e.g. corner island) since most accidents happen there
    • Monthly and twice a month calls bout this project, IBNA can join it
  • Discuss Bike Lane Options:
    • Quick-build bike lanes on Innes Avenue
    • Interim by advocating for the Bay Trail access Earl to Donahue
    • Long term by continuing to advocate for the Hudson alternative (may be 12 years away)
    • Possible vote to support the D10 CAP Bike Path
    • Possible vote to create Bike Lane Committee
  • Motion to support D10 CAP Bike Path

ITEM 7. 11:15   COMMUNITY CHALLENGE GRANT

  • Discussion and possible vote to apply; assign to a Committee
    • Alex presented the idea of murals for the SFMTA QuickBuild K-rails
    • Decided to not form a subcommittee for now, but continue to think about holistically tying several art and beautification projects

ITEM 8. 11:30   PALMILLA

  • Discussion and possible vote to support, not support, or be neutral on the plan
  • Any comments for next CAC meeting

ITEM 9. 11:45   REVIEW AND ADJOURN

  • IBNA Communication
    • Michael and Richard raised a concern that with MailChimp not everyone can email to IBNA members
    • Max/Jill to present the overall communications strategy (MailChimp, Facebook, Nextdoor, etc) and present it to the board, meet with Michael and Richard
    • Sean to acquire Zoom professional license, $150/year
    • Motion to approve: approved
